IXN - Network

	IXN offers native 10MB Ethernet, DS-3, 100MB Ethernet, OC-3c, and gigE connectivity using the Internet Protocol version 4 or the new native 6 protocol which integrates security and quality of service (QoS) features with v4 capabilities. All ultra-fast network services can support BGP, IPv6, and IPSEC.

	Network connections to the data center are redundant with multiple separate network access paths (entrances and exits). Dual access routers connect the data center to an IP backbone, utilizing two or more Cisco 12000 Gigabit routers.

	The IXN data center is in Fremont, California and is supported by a robust self-healing ultrafast national network with hundreds of peering relationships with many of the largest Internet service providers (ISPs) (see the "nodes" in the network map above). Back-end connectivity options are available including Frame Relay, private line, local-switched, and circuit-switched services. Sophisticated Network Security Solutions are also available.
